Who Are We?
Established over five years ago, NKF Electrical Services is a small professional, Surrey based company that have always been registered with the NICEIC.
As a Part P conforming company all electrical installations are tested and certified, and where necessary the local authority is notified taking the worry away for the client ensuring the work completed is safe, reliable and compliant.
Our company is small and consists of Nigel Filby as head electrician, wife Caroline as administrator and two other employees. We appreciate having trades working within your environment can potentially be awkward but be assured that we are trustworthy, competent and reliable. At NKF Electrical Services we take time to discuss customer requirements and make recommendations.
However, all our work is customer not electrician led! We often find clients are so pleased with our work that they find other installations they want done and 75% of our clients use us again for further work and recommend us to their friends. What's more we always clear up after ourselves!
Our clients include schools, pupil referral units and county councils as well as builders and house holders. We also regularly complete work for garden and interior designers, installing such items a complex garden lighting, hot tubs and outside domestic leisure facilities. We also specialise in the installation of CCTV in industrial and domestic environments. NKF Electrical Services also do maintenance contracts for landlords and leasing agents. The work completed for builders includes first and second fix electrical installations, rewires and new consumer units as well as all other domestic electrical work.
What is Part P Compliance? The specific section of the Building Regulations for England and Wales that relates to electrical installations in domestic properties. Part P provides safety regulations to protect householders, and requires most domestic electrical work to be carried out by government-registered electricians, or to be inspected by Building Control officers.
